Indianapolis
Hi, everybody! Last Sunday we drove down to Indianapolis. What a nice city! We stayed at the Embassy Suites hotel on the "newly-renovated" 17th floor. We swam in their pool and explored the city for a couple of days. We took a horse-drawn carriage ride around the downtown area where they have many war monuments. We took a tour of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway where the Indy 500 is held. (For a picture of all of us "kissing the bricks," please visit Lea's blog, The Leaf Machine.) On our way back we stopped at the Fair Oaks Dairy Farm. They keep the cows far from the people, so it was a very pleasant visit :)

Hi Midge! That is so cool you guys got to visit Indy and kiss the bricks! As race fans, we would love to be able to visit there someday. We are so looking forward to seeing you guys in just a couple of weeks! Yay! See you soon.
